Vote YES to DIVEST!
After two weeks of petitioning, SECS collected over 4000 student signatures in support of our vote for divestment being put on the Student Senate Ballot Referendum. This Wednesday and Thursday (November 13 and 14) we urge you to go to www.vote.illinois.edu or check your university email and use your power to VOTE YES FOR DIVESTMENT! Your vote means you support the University to divest (or stop investing) their millions of dollars in filthy coal companies by 2017. To help us get even more votes and to spread the word, invite your friends to the Facebook event and rep SECS/Beyond Coal by making this photo your cover photo! We're one step closer to divestment and a cleaner, more socially responsible unversity. All thanks to you guys! Keep it up!
