Welcome Back!

Newsletter

First order of business; the first newsletter of the new year came out two days ago. If you didn't get it in your inbox, but would like to, please utilize the subscription form here.

The weekly newsletter of SECS is your primary source of updates for all things club related, so be sure you have your email address registered with us to receive them. Not all events and news will be covered on the blog.

Weatherization Project Leader Wanted

The previous chair for the weatherization project has sadly stepped down. If you are interested in taking over as project leader, please contact Matt for more information. Read a little bit more about the SECS Weatherization project here.

Prior experience with weatherization equipment helpful, but not required. Members of the previous weatherization project are heavily encouraged to apply.

Blog Authors Wanted

Looking to be more involved with the club? Consider becoming a blog author/project liaison. The only responsibility you would have is to ensure you keep up with everything that happens within your project (this requires high attendance rate to meetings and workdays) and relaying that information to the SECS secretary on a weekly basis. In exchange, you will be given full authorship rights to the SECS Blogspot and have the freedom to post anything you'd like, so long as it's environmentally related. Contact your project leader or Mike if interested.

People who like to post things on our Facebook wall are encouraged to apply.

Upcoming Event

This Saturday, January 21st, there will be a mini-quad day of sorts at Allen Hall. SECS will be manning a table during this period, so please pass this along to any people you think would be interested in joining. The event will be from 11:30 to 2:30 PM.

Right afterwards (2:30) come join SECS for some ice skating! We'll be heading over to the ice arena to host the first social event of the year. If possible, meet with us at Allen Hall 10 minutes prior so we can head over together. If need to meet with us later, the ice arena is located at 406 E Armory Ave.

Lastly...

It's good to have you guys back, let's make this semester a great one.
